Pawai Ta'aruf is the parade which is done by Islamic community in Kota Baru, Melawi. They done this parade every years before Ramadhan. The committes of this event gave the announcemnt to the community, schools, organizations, and goverment institutes to invite them to participate in this event. Pawai Ta'aruf aims to enliven Ramadan. It is not just parade, but it is the contest. In this contest the best group will be the winner. The assessment aspect is from the cohesiveness, dress code, the songs and the properties that the participants bring. There are several categories in this event, that is children, teenegers, and adults
