Tempoyak is one of traditional food in Melawi. Tempoyak is durian fruit that has been fermented with salt. Chosse the ripe and take the pulp from the fruit, give salt to make taste. Put it in the jar, and save it after a week.Tempoyak can be eaten directly without cooking, or can be cooked first. Tempoyak can be cooked by mixing with fish or fruit lanyau called oncau, or can also fried.
